Basic Greek

The courses are aimed at those who can at least read and write Greek, also form and understand simple sentences in Greek, can communicate in simple situations such as buying an ice cream from a kiosk and can introduce themselves and their family answering questions like “Πού μένεις;” “Από πού είσαι;” “Πώς σε λένε;” “Έχεις παιδιά;” “Καταλαβαίνεις Αγγλικά;” but they cannot describe some simple things they did yesterday or will do tomorrow because they cannot use basic verbs such as έχω, τρώω, πίνω, ακούω, καταλαβαίνω, γράφω, στέλνω, δίνω, πηγαίνω, παίρνω, αγοράζω, διαβάζω in the past tense or the future.

Check the calendar below for availability and sign up. You can register for 1, 2 or more weeks, from Sunday (check-in) to Sunday. Classes start Monday afternoon, so you can arrive Monday morning without missing the first class. The calendar is updated with the 2024 and 2025 classes.

August classes: During the August classes, starting from July 27, there are no activities, meals or local transportation offered. Students will have to rent a car. Also, the cost of accommodation is increased by 25 Euros per day, compared to other periods.
