To whom is this Greek language course for?
The Greek language course for absolute beginners is aimed at absolute beginners who cannot write and read texts in modern Greek, also cannot participate in simple conversations where someone introduces himself and his family by answering simple questions such as: Πού μένεις; / από πού είσαι; / έχεις παιδιά; / πώς σε λένε; / που δουλεύεις; / πόσων χρονών είναι ο γιός σου;
If you want to learn from scratch how to read and write, also how to combine verbs, adjectives and nouns together in order to build simple sentences in Greek language, you can start learning here. It is a rather intensive course lasting from Monday to Saturday (6 lessons within the week).
Costs
- A student in a private room: €710.5/week
(One student per room. The student may share his room with a fellow traveler who is not participating in the classes at no extra cost. However, they will need to rent a vehicle for local transportation)
For a single week: €920.5
- If you travel with another student and share the same room: €1130.5 / week (cost for two people)
For a single week: €1550.5 (cost for two people)
- -10% to students who return within 2 years for 2 or more weeks!

Tuition includes simple meals from Monday to Friday, 12 hours of Greek language lessons / 6-day week (2 hours daily, from Mon-Sat), in classes with a maximum number of 4 students, and other activities such as hikes, cooking evenings, traditional dance lessons , lectures, presentations, etc.
*Language schools advertise “teaching hours”. Each “teaching hour” lasts 45 minutes. So in another school 20 (teaching) hours / week (4 “teaching hours / day) is 15 hours / 5-day week, in classes with more than 4 students. We offer 12 hours in a 6-day week (we teach on Saturday) in classes from 1 to 4 students

Check the calendar below for availability and sign up. You can register for 1, 2 or more weeks, from Sunday (check-in) to Sunday. For an introduction to the basics of the language, we recommend a week. Classes start Monday afternoon, so you can arrive Monday morning without missing the first class. The calendar is updated with the 2024 and 2025 classes.
