Activities and accommodation in Ikaria for solo travelers and digital nomads

Spend a few days of August, or the entire month, alone or with your travel companion in the tranquility offered by our guesthouse.
Accommodation with activities, for digital nomads and solo travelers
April to October (except August). Minimum stay: 6 days (Sunday or Monday to Saturday or Sunday), €80 / night / person. -15% if you share your room with your fellow traveler. The cost covers participation in activities, two simple meals per day (Monday – Friday) and free local transportation to nearby beaches and settlements, for swimming in the sea and shopping.
You will work on your own project while at the same time you will be able to participate in Greek lessons and other activities: cooking evenings, songs, traditional dance lessons, film screenings, discussions, lectures and visits to attractions on the island. An opportunity to get to know the Greek language and culture better, also an opportunity to meet other people and have a healthy socialization with them. Participation in Greek lessons in bookings of 2+ weeks: additional €120 / week of participation in lessons, if there are places available.
Accommodation in Ikaria for digital nomads and solo travelers in winter
From November to April: 245€ / week, for one or two people / room. Minimum reservation 4 weeks. (If you want to make a reservation for 1-3 weeks, contact us). No activities or meals are offered. You can prepare your meals / breakfast in the kitchenette of you room or the shared kitchen. You will also have free access to a car with the other residents of the guesthouse for your explorations on the island. If you come with a fellow traveler, you will have to take care of your transportation by renting your own car. The cost of a car during this period of time will not exceed 20 – 25 Euros per day.
What you will find: Healthy socialization with the other residents of the guesthouse, who like you are looking for a quiet place to advance their own project in the tranquility offered by direct contact with nature or are attending Greek language lessons with us. Free use of a shared car, to explore the island alone or with the others.
Rooms in Ikaria for everyone, in August
August: 80€ / day for one or two people in the same room. In August you must come with your own transport. Minimum booking period: 3 days.
What you will find in the rooms in August: You will be able to work on your own project in peace, have fun at the famous “panigiria” of Ikaria and swim in the clear waters of the island. Our guesthouse is located in a location with a fantastic view, which remains quiet and peaceful even during the period of time when the crowd of the summer floods the island.
The guesthouse and rooms in Ikaria
Each of our guests has their own private 20m2 room in the Ikarian Center guesthouse. All rooms have heating, are equipped with a private bathroom and a small kitchenette and can accommodate up to two people. High-speed Internet is available in the rooms and in all areas of the facility, both indoor and outdoor
Breakfast is not offered at the guesthouse. In some periods, simple meals are offered during the week. Our guests can prepare breakfast and simple meals in the kitchenette of their rooms or the shared kitchen of the complex.
Hiking: The area is ideal if you want to walk in the mountains. A network of footpaths and dirt roads without car traffic stretches across the area and challenges the visitor to walk and explore it.

About Ikarian Centre
We are a Greek language school for adults. We have been organizing Greek courses for non native speakers since 1995. Our experience allows us to organize a wide range of activities, from Greek language courses at various levels, to traditional dance lessons and hikes in the mountains of the region.
